Brian found a fuel tank a couple weeks ago..... off a GMC box truck that is like the Isuzu trucks. We just needed to get a cap for it.
We got it hung a couple weeks ago and I got the new cap the other day (sorry, no pic of that yet)
It's just about exactly what we were looking for in size/shape. It carries 33 gallons of diesel.
Now, we are considering turning this tank into a battery/tool box and buying another one for the other side for the fuel tank. It just seems like it would look good and balanced with them on both sides. Good idea? Bad idea? I am on the fence. I do like the idea of 2 fuel tanks for the balance though.....
